What TripCash Playbook publishes
TripCash Playbook is an independent travel-cost, arrival-planning, and affiliate-measurement publication operated by Travel Tours, a Virginia-based sole proprietorship. We publish destination decision guides, provider-comparison checklists, publisher measurement education, and a self-service budget system. We are not a government agency, airport, airline, insurer, payment processor, or booking provider.
Evidence labels
- Official-source fact: a claim tied to a government, regulator, airport, transit authority, or equivalent source.
- Provider-researched detail: price, coverage, eligibility, booking, cancellation, or affiliate terms published by the responsible provider.
- Editorial comparison: the desk’s synthesis of tradeoffs such as luggage, timing, total cost, flexibility, or attribution.
- Observed dashboard result: a measured click, booking, commission, or payout shown by an analytics or affiliate source.
- Illustration: hypothetical math used to explain a method, not a forecast or observed result.
- First-hand experience: published only when the contributor actually completed the route, product, or process and the page explicitly says so.
Current TripCash destination and product pages are desk research unless a different evidence label is displayed. The site does not imply that an editor personally used every route or affiliate product.
Source hierarchy
- Official government, regulator, airport, transit, and safety sources.
- First-party provider documentation for current commercial terms.
- Live site analytics and affiliate dashboards for observed performance.
- Secondary sources only when they add useful context and can be checked against stronger evidence.
Sources are linked on material pages. A provider page is not treated as the source of record for immigration, passenger rights, safety authorization, or another official rule.
How a guide is built
- Start with one real decision: arrival route, whole-trip cost, baggage, connectivity, protection, booking rights, quote completeness, or affiliate attribution.
- Define the alternatives and the factors that can change the answer.
- Check the responsible sources and preserve the verification links.
- Separate decision guidance from paid inventory and place the commission disclosure near relevant links.
- State what the evidence does not prove, including when no personal test occurred.
- Add an update date and contextual links to the next useful guide.
Affiliate independence
An affiliate relationship does not guarantee inclusion, favorable language, or the lowest price. The available program may be one option in a comparison. Providers control inventory, transaction terms, fulfillment, tracking, reversals, and payouts. TripCash Playbook records a site click as a click—not as a booking or commission.
Updates and corrections
Travel and affiliate facts change. Material guides show a research record and update date. To flag a factual error, use the corrections and support page and identify the URL, passage, and stronger source. The TripCash Playbook Editorial Desk reviews the evidence and corrects supported errors.
